1st HISTORIC MARKER dedicated to a "Rug Hooker"...

honoring Magdalena Briner Eby, installed October 2019,
just in time for the Perry County, Pennsylvania 2020 Bicentennial!

Raffle Rug --- WON by Debra Smith, Editor of Rug Hooking Magazine (in pink), hooked by the
Magdalena Rug Hookers of Perry County, Pennsylvania. The raffle rug was inspired by Magdalena's "Farm" rug (pictured on page 45 in Rug Hooking Traditions with Magdalena Briner Eby).

   TRAIL RUG
...Magdalena's "Great-Granddaughter's" rug was the inspiration for the
1st Trail Rug on the National Quilt Trail (pictured below & on page 41 & 56 in the book).
The Magdalena Briner Eby Trail Rug is
located at: Tuscarora State Forest (Rt. 274, Blain, PA). You can visit the Trail Rug & other Magdalena Historic Sites in Perry County --- a map is included with each Magdalena book order.
